The Bed Rest Has Been Extended...

27 Weeks

 28 Weeks
The only reason I have real clothes and make-up on in these pictures is because I had to go to
doctor's appointments.  I am not allowing pictures on other days, lol.

I got to go into the doctor earlier than expected and I have to be on bed rest for the duration of my pregnancy.  My contractions have gotten better but I am still having them daily, pretty much hourly.  I try to ignore them but it is pretty hard to ignore all of them.

Now since I have to stay on bed rest, I can't go back to school for the remainder of the year.  That is the worst part by far!  I love my kids so much and it makes me so sad that I can't finish out the year with them.  Harry and I purposely didn't start trying for kids until the fall so I would hopefully get pregnant and have the baby in the summer.  We were very lucky and didn't try for long, but apparently God decided that I could plan all I wanted to but he is the one in charge and would decide how this whole thing was going to work out.
Here is a little example of why of love and miss my kids so much...
They made this with my sweet substitute.

This week has been pretty eventful in the land of bed rest.
First, I got an amazing gift basket from the wonderful parents of my kindergartners.  They put magazines, candy, sudoku, a gift card to chilis with a to go menu, books, and a ton of other good stuff!

Tuesday, I had to go to the GI doctor which was a deviation from bed rest and everything there went fine.  Don't worry, I won't tell you about that.  Then yesterday, I had to do my 1 hour glucose test, which I found out today that I failed, which I have heard alot of people fail the first one but pass the 3 hour one.  So I have to do the 3 hour glucose test next week.  Wish me luck that I can pass that one!  My mom failed the 1 hour test but passed the 3 hour test with me, so let's hope I'm the same way!  And I'm also anemic, so I have to start taking an iron pill.

Again this week, my hubby, Mom, Dad and Ellie have kept me company and entertained.  Mom and I have been watching a lot of House Hunters International and I have been doing a lot of searching on Etsy for things for the baby's room.

Here are some pictures of what a typical day looks like.

And we officially have a name for this sweet little baby!  We are naming our sweet boy....
Ramey Michael Harrison.  Ramey was my PaPa's name (my dad's dad) and Michael is Harry and his dad's middle name.  We are very excited that he has such a meaningful name and that it won't be a very common name.  As a teacher, it was pretty hard to think of a name that hadn't been ruined, lol, jk.  But that I didn't associate with another child good or bad and that Harry liked.  He was soooo picky with everything.  I said one name and he said, "There was this kid in 7th grade that I got in a fight with named..." or "So and so's husband is named...."  I told him that every name we thought of would have someone he probably knew at sometime in his life.  I was scared to tell him Ramey because I love it so much and it means so much to me and he had shot down every name I had said up to that point.  But when I said Ramey, it was the only one that he actually said, "Hmm, I like it"  But then it still took another 2 months or so for him to finally agree to it.  Then last night once he decided on it, he was so giggly and embarrassed.  He does that when he is excited or embarrassed about something.  I love my husband so much!

Thanks for reading!!!
